The bustling city of Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. This mega city representing different architectural phases since the Mughal era, starting in the early 17th century to contemporary Baitur Rouf Mosque, nominated for the 2016 Aga Khan Award for architecture. The aim of Dhaka architecture tour is narrate the stories of the city through the buildings that played the transformative roles in its architectural formation. We can cover places like Lalbag Fort (closed on Sunday)- one of the most impressive Mughal architecture built in 17th century, Boro katra built between 1644~1646 as an official residence of the son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Pink Palace (Closed on Thursday), a marriage of Mughal and European architecture. Curzon Hall, the red-bricked structure with the amalgamation of Mughal and European sensibilities. National Parliament Building , a modern masterpiece designed by the American architect Louis I Kahn. Baitur Rouf Mosque, designed by architect Marina Tabassum, won the Aga Khan Award, an exposed terracotta brick mosque. Places also can be selected or customized according your interest.

07.30 AM Pick-up: After meeting your guide head to sites and visit

08.30 AM Baitur Rouf Mosque: Stop for 60 minutes and visit the mosque which is the winner of the Aga Khan Award for architecture.

10.30 AM National Parliament Building: Stop 30 minutes and visit the national assembly building which is a modern masterpiece of Louis I kahn.

11.30 AM Lalbagh Fort: Stop for 30 minutes, visit the historical lalbagh fort which also known as the fort Aurangabad, 17^th centuries unfinished Mughal fort, construction began by prince Azam the son Emperor Augrangazeb.

12.30 PM Boro Katra: Stop for 30 minutes and visit the residence of Mughal prince Shah Suja.

01.00 PM Lunch: You may stop for 30 minutes.

02.00 PM Curzon Hall: Stop for 30 minutes, walk through the Curzon Hall, an architectural master piece of European-Mughal style erected in 1904.

03.30 PM Pink Palace: Stop for 60 minutes, visit Pink Palace, also known as Ahsan Manjil. This was the Residential palace of the landlord of Dhaka. The palace stands as an architectural beauty of Dhaka and located on the bank of the river Buriganga.

05.30 PM Drop: End of the tour, drop to the designated point

Physicality: Lite walking and suitable for most fitness levels. Nothing is too challenging.
